About the Conference

In a changing world and uncertain higher education policy environment, the job of Finance and Procurement Managers and their teams continues to be quite a balancing act.

Funding cuts, tenuous economic outlooks, global and domestic competition and rapid technological change, means the pressure is on to cut costs, drive efficiencies and review and renew systems and processes. ‘ The Balancing Act - Doing More With Less’.

Couple these pressures with expectations of compliance, probity, responsiveness and new service cultures and it’s no wonder some feel like they are walking a tightrope.

The 2015 National University Finance & Procurement Conference will address these issues and more and provide the opportunity for finance and procurement management professionals and the business sector to explore solutions and share best practice successes.

The conference will be held between Monday 27 July and Wednesday 29 July, 2015 at the Novotel Coffs Harbour Pacific Bay Resort.

Venue and Location

With a beachfront location at Charlesworth Bay, just 3 kms north from Coffs Harbour, Novotel Pacific Bay Resort is framed by the Pacific Ocean and natural forest in a sub- tropical environment. The venue provides a relaxed space for conference delegates to network and learn. Coffs Harbour Airport is serviced daily by Qantas, Virgin and Tiger Air with nine flights a day from Sydney.
