Thrifty Car Rentals
In February 2005, an Agreement was made between HES and Thrifty for discounted car rentals. Through this agreement Thrifty offerred all universities (including staff and students) year round fixed low rates. The rates being available Australia wide and can be used for both business and private use.
In February 2007, the agreement was extended for a further period of two years with prices being held at the 2005 rates. This is a good deal for universities, students and staff.

University Staff & Student Private Vehicle Rentals
Thrifty will also offer the staff and students of AVCC Universities specially discounted rates for their private use. Payment for private rentals will be by personal credit card. These rates will be available all year round. Drivers must be over the age of 21 years.
