Are you involved in managing Travel in your University?

If so, then this is the workshop for you.


Share your successes and challenges in a structured, interactive, friendly and informative environment

This workshop brought together stakeholders to discuss the many elements of travel management in universities. The intent was to generate focus points that may inform and provide direction to the following:

  • Diagnostic of Travel Programme
  • Travel Avoidance Analysis
  • Travel Strategy Workshop

The workshop focused on three strategic levels of travel:

  • Policy & Vision
  • Framework & Strategy
  • Technology

The objectives of the Travel Workshop were for:

  • participants to contribute to discussion across the three strategic levels of the travel system
  • participants to gain a three dimensional view of the SWOT of their current travel systems

This workshop was interactive, with structured opportunities to hear from practitioners and contribute your ideas and experiences. The workshop and presentations was facilitated by experienced university travel managers and process facilitators.
This workshop also provided delegates with a network of contacts to bounce ideas off and allow you to tap into their knowledge and experience.

Attendees:

  • University officers involved in any/all aspects of Travel Management at your institution
  • University Travel Coordinators

What Did I get out of it?

  • the opportunity to learn from colleagues regarding differing approaches to the travel management
  • the chance for people to validate their approach and compare notes
  • open discussion on issues related to Travel Management, providing clarification and understanding
  • networking opportunities

 

Registration

If your university is a participant in the Australian University Procurement Initiative (AUPN) there will be no charge for delegate attendance. For all other delegates, those not participating in the AUPN, there will be a charge of $150 per delegate.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CLOSED

Note that once you have submitted your registration, if from a non-participating AUPN insititution, you will be invoiced for the $150 per delegate. Invoices have up to 14 days to be paid - no cancellations/reimbursements will be allowed.
