The Australian Universities Procurement Consortium

The Australian Universities Procurement Consortium initiative is managed by HES and has been actively involved in promoting best practice in procurement in Australian Universities since 2001. The AUPC Executive Committee comprises volunteers from eight Australian Universities and is actively engaged in the Australian National Higher Education Procurement Benchmarking Programme (ANHEPBP) which is a national initiative funded by the Australian Government's Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST). This extensive benchmarking initiative involves 30 Australian Universities. The AUPC also supports aggregated procurement opportunities for universities on both a national and regional basis and provides a strong national network for procurement professionals in Australian universities.
