AVCC announces outcomes from Review

The AVCC has published a statement outlining changes it plans to implement following a review of its activities.

It was agreed that the AVCC needs to refine its focus and structure to become a peak industry body, the key role of which would be advocacy for higher education in the public interest.

Changes, to be effected by June 2007, includes a name change to Universities Australia.
