HES Human Resource Group Newsletter

In 2005 the Human Resources Information Systems Group embarked on many projects in research & development for the Talent2 HR system. The HRIS newsletter showcases some of their achievements.

Talent2 is the dominant university HR system in use by 24 higher education sector institutions (four being in New Zealand), of which 19 institutions participate in the Higher Ed Systems Human Resources Information Systems Group (HRIS).

The HRIS Group is strategically focussed, aimed at developing Human Resources information solutions, including lobbying and advising HES management,, the Australian Vice Chancellors' Committee and individual universities.

The HRIS Group is actively involved in product development, and testing in conjunction with Talent2 for the benefit of all participants, and ultimately the wider Talent2 client base.

The HRIS Group is committed to maintaining best practice standards and promote innovation.

The HRIS group identifies, pursues and manages new strategic alliances as they are required. Members work collaboratively, sharing their experiences and information relating to the higher education sector in Australia and New Zealand.
