Oracle Management Services

HES provides its twenty Oracle Consortium clients with professional contract management and analytical services, including an annual Oracle Licence Review Service to enhance the optimisation of Oracle Technology Platform Set licensing.

HES has a long-standing and successful relationship with Oracle. We have 14 years experience and professional expertise, in successfully negotiating with Oracle on technology licensing and support renewals and on natural successor migration pathways. Although we offer these specialist services mainly to universities, the company is also able to offer its services to research and education related bodies including TAFE organisations.

HES has an agreement with Oracle to reconcile the total Oracle licensing for HES consortium clients during the annual Oracle Licence Review process. From 2008, HES is able to extend this specialist Oracle Licence Review Service to clients who are not consortium members.

Oratech Consortium Clients

The HES Oracle Technology Consortium (Oratech) includes 17 Australian universities, CSIRO and ANSTO and Holmesglen Institute of TAFE. HES is a large Oracle client, licensing in excess of 280,000 Oracle technology licenses to consortium members.

HES sublicenses a substantial bundle of Oracle technology products to each organisation and each enjoys significant savings and financial benefits from the relationship. Six Australian universities sublicense Oracle Financials through HES at a significantly discounted rate and have formed a HES Finance Group.
