HES works selectively with global and Australian partners to provide a range of project management services, user group management services, coordination of collaborative technology developments and software licensing options which benefit the higher education sector. University Partnerships
HES works in partnership with Lead universities in the delivery of national projects of significance to the higher education sector.
The University of Newcastle was the lead university for the $6.1 million Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) funded Australian National Higher Education Procurement Benchmarking Programme. HES was the Project Management Partner managing 15 sub-projects and associated contracting for 29 participating universities on behalf of the lead university.
Charles Sturt University was the lead university for the $2.1 million Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) funded Human Resources Information Systems Electronic Information Management Programme. HES was the Project Management Partner managing 13 technology sub-projects and associated contracting for 17 participating universities on behalf of the lead university.
