Project Management and Consultancy Services

HES undertook the Project Management Partner role for two large Collaborative Workplace Productivity Projects funded by the Commonwealth Department of Education Science and Training (DEST) in conjunction with lead universities, being the University of Newcastle and Charles Sturt University respectively. HES developed the successful submissions on behalf of each lead university in 2006, which resulted in grants of $6.1 million and $2.1 million over the next three years. There are 29 participating universities in a national procurement benchmarking programme and 17 in a Human Resources Electronic Information Management Project.

HES's highly skilled staff have undertaken a number of consultancies in the areas of Risk Assessment, Research Administration and Systems implementations, business process improvement, strategic planning and various other areas.
