Callista Senior Executive Group
The collaborative model endorsed by CSEG and Tribal through the Callista Service Agreement provides for oversight of the strategic development of the Callista Student System where institutions are able to contribute their business experience and directly influence the continuing development of Callista resulting in a premier student management system which is specifically designed to meet the needs of Australian universities as well as the VET sector.
Universities Financial Process and Technology Network
This group (formally Finance Systems Group) was redefined in 2019 to strengthen the linkage to the Australian Universities Finance Officers Group (AUSFOG) and to have responsibility for focused activities, specific projects and collaborative workshops for process and information exchange. Effectively, the operational arm of AUSFOG.
Universities HR Business Improvement Group
There is significant activity occurring at all universities engaging in HR business improvement activities as a consequence of universities adopting Human Capital Management systems. This has resulted in substantial re-focus and change in support activities of HR departments.
In 2019 HES established a sector-wide group of HR professionals who are leaders in university HR business improvement targeting HR Associate Directors and/or HR Business Improvement leaders. These people are typically leading their university’s direction and initiatives with the selection and adoption of digital HR tools and techniques.
Human Resources Information Systems Group (HRISG)
The Human Resource Information Systems Group is an active and collaborative group of 18 universities whose principal focus is promoting effective business improvement in use of AscenderPay and it’s integration with Human Capital Management Solutions.
All current participating universities sub-licence the Ascender HR system through Higher Ed Services.
