Ceridian

Currently, eighteen Australian universities sub-license the AscenderPay product via a Master Services Agreement between HES and AscenderPay. This Master Services Agreement provides participating universities access to hosted AscenderPay services including managed payroll services.

In addition to offering flexibility and better control over your cashflows, HES also delivers value-added services such as billing solutions, partner-led or AWS-led support, Subsidised TCO Analysis and Migration Readiness Assessments (MRA). HES can also offer preferential and subsidised cloud business cases for our members to migrate from on-premise to AWS cloud services. Callista

Callista is a comprehensive and robust Student Management System that provides universities and TAFE’s with a high-performance software solution for managing the entire student lifecycle.  In addition to managing the licensing agreements, HES also provides executive support to the institutions using Callista through the Callista Senior Executive Group.

NEXTGEN / OPTIMA

NEXTGEN is an innovative company that is reimagining IT distribution and delivering considerable value to the higher education sector. A safe pair of hands, they have developed an advanced enterprise software strategy, best-in-breed infrastructure and services encompassing everything from marketing to payment solutions.

Optima is the specialist software licensing advisory division of NEXTGEN that works with customers and IT channel partners to help analyse and optimise complex software licensing environments. Oracle

As an Oracle Gold Partner, HES offers a range of services to Australian universities for their Oracle Licensing and Support requirements. This support for member universities includes significant savings when compared to the Oracle Higher Education Price-List on products such as database and middleware software as well as all Oracle cloud services. HES adds further value with a range of technical and advisory services.

About HES Technology

The focus of HES Technology is to provide more effective technology solutions for the higher education sector. We do that by identifying technology providers that possess technology or software platforms that are beneficial to the sector and helping to establish and manage collaborative partnerships between those providers and higher education institutions.

Importantly, HES negotiates favourable terms with these providers and develops a level of service that makes their product more effective or easier to use. We then advise the higher education sector of the availability of the technology, facilitate its adoption and ensure that technology licences are understood and managed correctly.
